New Text Paintings: Fictions
My newest paintings are based on appropriated texts coming from classic literature; Moby Dick, Leaves of Grass, and the Odyssey. These texts are excerpted and fragmented so that I may focus on personal interpretations of the text as a formal element within the process of making the painting.
