Kangi Drawings
These drawings were originally made in Rome, and reflect both my fascination with the worn surfaces of the city and my acute interest in visual examples of a language I could not speak or read. They were not directly integrated into my practice, but in the intervening decade I have returned to their ideas and subject matter as a way to combine information and abstraction.
